Art & Craft
At Little Ivy, our Art & Craft Class blends storytelling, creativity, and hands-on exploration to inspire young artists. Each session begins with an engaging story or themed activity, sparking curiosity and setting the stage for artistic expression. Based on this background, children will dive into a guided art project using various materials and techniques, from painting and sculpting to collage and mixed media. Through this immersive approach, kids not only develop artistic skills but also strengthen their imagination, problem-solving abilities, and connection between stories and visual expression. Our goal is to create a fun, enriching environment where creativity flourishes and every child feels proud of their unique creations.
Yoga Mat & Board
Our Yoga & Balance Class goes beyond traditional yoga by incorporating balance boards to help children develop core strength, coordination, and flexibility in a fun and engaging way. Our RTY yoga teacher will design a combination of stretching, mindful movement, and balancing exercises, kids will improve their body awareness, posture, and overall well-being.We believe that yoga is more than just physical exercise—it also enhances focus, concentration, and mindfulness, supporting children's overall growth and development. By making yoga interactive and dynamic, we create an exciting experience that promotes both physical and mental well-being.Join us in building strength, balance, and focus—one pose at a time!
Mandarin
Our Mandarin Class at Little Ivy brings language learning to life by immersing children in Chinese culture and history. Each session begins with an engaging cultural or historical story, our experienced language teacher providing meaningful context and sparking curiosity. Students are encouraged to share their own experiences, making personal connections that deepen their interest in the language.
Building on this foundation, we introduce new Chinese characters, practice reading poetry together, and explore pronunciation in a fun, interactive way. To enhance understanding, children also create traditional Chinese crafts, reinforcing cultural themes through hands-on activities.
Through storytelling, discussion, and creative expression, our Mandarin class fosters a love for the language while helping children develop a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture.
